What to do if you get coronavirus? Doctor’s advice

My name is Dr. Evdokimenko, and today we will discuss what to do if you get sick with coronavirus. In this video, we will expand on existing recommendations and share new advice.

Currently, among our friends and relatives, we are seeing the spread of a form of coronavirus that our team calls the coughing form. This form of illness can be especially severe for some people.

Main Forms of Coronavirus

  1. Toxic Form
    • Symptoms: weakness, muscle pain, headache, temperature fluctuations (high or low), changes in smell and taste.
    • Feature: cough may occur but is rarely severe.
  2. Coughing Form
    • Symptoms: severe, painful cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, sometimes fever.
    • Feature: no weakness, muscle pain, or changes in smell or taste.

Recommendations for Treating the Toxic Form

  1. Body Detoxification:
    • Activated Charcoal: 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight, once a day (3–5 days).
    • Arthasyphon (liver herb): strictly follow the instructions.
    • Methylene Blue: 1% solution, 5 drops on the first day, then 10 drops per glass of water (5 days).
  2. Breathing Exercises: perform lung exercises (a video link will be provided in the pinned comment).
  3. Succinic Acid: use during recovery if no individual intolerance is present.

Recommendations for Treating the Coughing Form

  1. Combination of Medications:
    • Licorice Root (syrup): take as directed (7–14 days, repeat course after 3 weeks).
    • Antiallergic Medication: most commonly fenkarol (3 days).
  2. Alternative Remedies (if licorice root is intolerable):
    • Elecampane, coltsfoot.
    • Mixture of aloe, butter, and honey: take 1 tsp three times a day (7–14 days).
  3. Detoxification during Recovery: activated charcoal and arthasyphon.
  4. Breathing Exercises: essential for the treatment process.

When to Use Antibiotics

  • Antibiotics should only be prescribed in cases of severe condition worsening after 5–7 days of illness.
  • Signs for use:
    • Sudden temperature spikes.
    • Deterioration of lung function (e.g., reduced oxygen levels).
  • Important: use antibiotics only under medical supervision!
